"Too many field defined" error while opening a Report

Hi,

When I open a report which has about 190 controls in it in
Print preview mode, I'm getting "Too many Fields defined"
error.
I guess this error would come when the number of fields in
a table or query exceeds 255.In my case it is < 255 fields
only.
I'd liked to know what are all the reasons for getting
this error with respect to reports.Any help on this would
be highly appreciated.

How many total fields are in the query if you count every field in every
table? Is there a good reason for so many fields? Could you use subreports?
