First, Let me excuse to ask you directly here. I really appreciate if you can
help me overcome the problem i faced.
I already posted this , the title is "How to index network shared folders
successfully". Let me copy contents here.

"Hello, I really need your help for MS indexing Service , especially indexing
network shared folders.
First, I did as follows to index network shared folders.

1.Go to Computer management
2.Go to Services and Applications and Select Indexing Service
3.Select one catalog and select "Directories"
4.Add directory
5.In the Add Directory dialog, I typed as follows
Path : \\10.12.123.34\Share
Alias : this is disabled
User Name : 10.12.123.34\Tester or Tester
Password : ****

Of course, Tester has a adimin right.

The question is the follwoing:
I can index successfully network shared folders only when logging with same
ID and PW above. If not, I can not index network shared folders at all. That
is, after logging windows with different ID and PW, I add network shared
folder to indexing Service but indexing does not work. why??
I really appreciate anyone can answer for this."

Thank you in advance,
From coramdeo

I, for one, (and I'm sure there are others) would have been glad to help
you, and have the answer you need.

But, since you will only accept an answer from Wes, sorry.

Thank you, Tom Willett. Of course, I'd like all to help me overcome the
problem i faced. I've asked the problem already because it was urgent for me
but I didn't get. That's why I asked to Wes.

I hope you can help me also.
Thank you in advance.
