to manage photos

I would like to have a simple and fast software to manage photos, like
roteate, change colours and contrast, change format (es. bmp-->jpg) and
insert some words. Who can advise me something?

Irfan View is a great product. If you want to try the latest version,
it is important that you d/l 3.98*g*. Basically, 3.98 was released with
a bug that disables batch processing. The revision 'g' fixes that.
Currently, the only place I know to get 3.98g is via Irfanview's forum.

Another s/w option btw, is Picasa2. Good for general organizing and

Stef;

In v3.98g, after you have loaded the photo for rotation, click:
-Image
-Custom/Fine Rotation

and then type in the degree to which you'd like the photo rotated.
