Hi guys,

I would like internet explorer to keep my 'favorites' folder on my usb
memory drive
and therefore read the folder from the memory drive.
How can I force explorer to read the favorties from the usb drive?

You can't do that because Internet Explorer will only bring up the Favorites
that it has installed in its Favorites folder.

But there is nothing to prevent you copying the folder's contents to the
flash drive and then clicking on one of the Favorites to make Internet
Explorer access the site.

I believe you can! If you download/install TweakUI (part of the Powertoys for
XP), you can move the "Favorites" to the USB key. However, there are a few
problems that can come up:

1) USB flash drives can change Drive Letters.

2) You can forget to "plug-in" the flash drive.

3) Flash drives are "prone" to be erased by static electricity (especially
"el cheapo" models)

4) The NAND memory chips, common to most flash drives, can wear out. Usually
these are good for about 1000 writes.

Hi,
I have installed tweak but i still dont see how this helps!??
Can you guide me a bit?
