Hi diasmith - MSFT,

How come I only see your RE:........ posts and not a single original post ?
Can you at least include the original post in your reply, so I can verify if
I'm losing posts and maybe answer the original question.

Is anyone else seeing only RE:..... posts and not original posts ?

Thanks

I'm also seeing the RE: behavior. I'm using Outlook Express. I believe I'm
seeing this because the original messages are older than the number of days
before OE purges old messages from my news storage.

Hi Matjaz,

I'm seeing the same thing and, some time ago, made a similar request.
The posts contain useful information for many but would become even more
useful if the context of the original question was included.

Though I don't know her personally, I'll see if I can ask her to
incorporate the original post. It is possible, however, that they
originate on a private forum, thus the snips.

PS - Your contributions and dedication to the public forums are most
welcome, keep it up ... try and leave some for the rest of us ;) ...
just teasing :)

I posted a reply to Diana here, suggesting she include some context in
her posts. She subsequently emailed me for further clarification. I
replied with a bit more detail, but either this is her style, or she
didn't understand.

Cheers,

Cliff

:-). Well I had some spare time today, there was nothing on TV, I have just
finished reading Robbie Allen's latest Cookbook and my dog didn't want to go
out for a walk with me. What else I could do beside answering a few posts
:-)

Hi Matjaz,

I was using an internal tool (tomcat) to do my posts.

I have since starting using Outlook Express.

I apologize for the Spam.

No problem Diana. You don't need to apologize. You are mostly welcome here.
I was just missing original posts and were seeing only RE:...... ;-). I
thought that I had issue with my OE.

Hi Matjaz,

Fair enough, maybe learn how it works a bit better.
I have since starting using Outlook Express.

The difference is? Why change?
I apologize for the Spam.

It was SPAM? It didn't appear to be.

It may have expired a long time ago from many servers, simply
searching http://groups.google.com for the message IDs gives this -
