To copy a date

I was looking for a simple utility that would involve clicking on a
date in a calendar and the date would then be copied to the clipboard,
I've a mind I had something similar many moons ago. Anyone any ideas? I
don't want a big clumsy PIM or massive program, something simple!

Thanks, this looks just what I was looking for. Unfortunately I have
copied the script to a text file, saved it with an au3 extension (I've
got autoit) but it doesn't get past the first few lines. Am I doing
something wrong? Should there be some kind of preamble?

Oops! I've just seen its autohotkey and not autoit. Will try
