I downloaded the game Upwords from AOL tm netgames not absorbing that I had
to be an AOL member to receive the activation code. It cost $19.95,
downloaded, and the charge was shown on my bank account. I can't activate
it. Is there any way to receive a code to activate this game, or more to
the point to contact this company and get a refund. The icon shows on my
desktop, but I can't use it. Thanks.

Please! What has this got to do with Windows - or even Microsoft.

Your issue is with AOL. Contact them. Google works wonders.

I cannot find an online address, a postal address, or a phone number. Please
help of you know how. Thanks.

I don't know what a "charge back" is. I used my bank debit card which has
Visa on it. How do I initiate a charge back?
If you used your credit card, do a charge back.

In the future, I would use a credit card when buying something on the
Internet. Credit cards have more protections on them and you are liable
for only $50 which the credit card company usually waves. If someone
gets a hold of your debit card information then they could wipe out your
bank account and it could take a while for you to get the money back.

Thanks, I'll be more carefull in the future...
