title bar displays as only one letter

Only the first letter of the contents of <title></title>
is displaying in the title bar, rather than the entire
tag. e.g., "G" instead of "Google".

Any help is much appreciated. I've searched extensively
for a solution to this issue, and found 1 post, but no
answers.

ver: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2
all current updates installed

Do you have Popup Manager? I've been using it without problems and
like it very much, but I've read two other messages regarding the
single letter aspect and Popup Manager was the culprit in both cases..
