Is there anyway to 'bind' the music to the presentation
slides?

I am running on windowx XP, 1g RAM Powerpoint 2003 - Laptop

Two problems
1 - I have this presentation timed to the background
music - this presentation will run stand-alone but the
timing is never the same some times a second or two to
fast some times a second of two behind. What can I do?
Can the music and presentation be bound some way to always
play the same?

2. - The presentation does not run the same from one
machine ot another. The pages trasition at one speed
while the music plays at another. What can I do to fix
this?

Thanks for your help.

Consider using Windows Movie maker to insure correct timing on each
playback. WMM 2 is a free download (requires Windows XP -- which you have).

As Taj said, synchronized timing is not something PowerPoint does well,
while it is one of the strengths of WMM.
