Timing Issues

Hello,

I have a PP presentation created in 2003 with preset timings. When the
presentation is played in PP2000 the timing speeds up dramatically even
though the listed seconds are the same. When the presentation played in
PP2002 everthing is fine...also I have played the presentation using the
PPviewer on a machine without PP and everthing works fine.

Is there an issue with timings going from 2003 to 2000? It is hoped that
this presentation will be "packed" for viewing on various machines which may
be runnning PP2000.

Ideas?

Also, any easy way to remove timings?

New slide animations, timing, and transitions started with PPT 2002. If
2000 can't recognize this specific timing, it uses the closest. The new
Viewer (2003) obviously accepts/recognizes these new items. If you think
you might have folks with older versions of PowerPoint than the one you are
developing on (i.e., 2000 or 97), you can click "Tools", "Options", "Edit"
TAB, and "Disable" "New animation effects". Of course, this greatly reduces
the available timings and animations, but...
