laptop client using win2000 sp3

files timestamp is changed when automatically moved from
summer- to winterttime and the other way around.

Files are copied using Norton Commander with parameter as
being set to "only newer files"

On comparing files from the network to his local harddisk,
he found out that files on his laptop are exactly 1 hour
younger than the ones on the network.

There is no synchronized clock between laptop and
networkserver (W2K)

Microsoft Client for Netware is installed, but not logged
on to.

Some of your machines either use the wrong time zone
setting, or they don't have the box ticked that adjusts
automatically for summer/winter time. Double-click the
clock in the System Tray to set these things.
