Can time be entered after 12 without having to enter 13, 14 etc.?
For example I am still working on a time sheet where time would be entered, all formulas work except employees would have to enter time after 12 not as 1pm, 2pm but as 13 and 14.
How can I format the time to be able to enter time after 12 and still have my formula realize it's pm and not am?

Hi
format the cell with a time format like
hh:mm am

but now your employees have to enter something like
1:00 pm

Otherwise how should Excel know what 01:00 represents

Jennifer

Just enter 13:00. It should automatically be recognised as a time, 1:00
p.m. If you need to format it, format it as hh:mm

Regards

Trevor
