XPPro and 7/24 DSL access.
1.3Ghz/516Mb ram

I have the automatic time update set in services to automatically start.

Each day I check my time and find that the automatic setting always
remains, but the service reverts to stop. I reset start and all is well
until the next day.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks....

What do you mean 'automatic time update in services" Can you elaborate?

Certainly....

If you go to services and scroll down to Windows Time, you will see how
the time synchronizing can be set to do so automatically.
What I am saying is that even though I have it set to automatic and have
it started, the started changes to stop every day, requiring me to have
to re-start it.

thanks....

Have you tried double clicking the time in the tray and going to
internet time tab and making sure Automatically synchronize time is
checked?

Thanks, but I have done all of the above. Only the start function
changes to stop by itself each day.
