Time service corrected the clock error by x seconds

Event ID 593. Source w32time.

The time on my server keeps on changing without
intervention. I get the error above and it moves the time
back by an hour. How do you resolve this ?? I have
changed it back through the normal method but I don't
understand why this changes and I can't find any article
in the K.B.

Any suggestions welcomed
 
are you in a domain or stand alone?? where are you setting your time from?
have you selected the correct time zone (with/without daylight savings
time). if in a domain does the pdc have the correct time zone set and how
does it's time compare with reality?

the event 593 just means that w32time has exited i believe. it should show
that periodically about the time that the clock gets adjusted.
