Hi,
When I am in a folder and create a new file, the time of creation given to
it by W

Running Dell lap C 840 1.6 Ghz
XP PRO Office Bus 2002indows is quite different than the time on my clock
by several hours. Why and how to correct that.

Your post seems a little disjointed. Please repost and give actual
examples. You should also say how you determine the file's date stamp.
 
If the 'new file' is a modified version of a previous one, then the creation
date won't change.

It is not always happening though
 
it was a brand new sound file I was creating in a folder to leave myself a
message for my futur look in that folder . I was looking in the property of
that file after creating it and of course it does not do it anymore. So what
can I say more than what could have cause that .
