Why is there a time difference when I'm sending an email.... eg. I send an
email at 17.30 on say satrday ...... but the reciever on reply sees that the
sent time is actualy 00.30 on Sunday.......It's a bit funny seen as they
probaly open it on saturday as well

Either you or the recipient (or both) have your computer configured
for the wrong time zone. To check your time zone setting, right-click
on the time display, select Adjust Date/Time.

I am having the same problem, the clock on my computer is correct. If I
change the time zone it changes the time. If I send email to myself it shows
in the sent file sent at the correct time, but the time received is 2 hours
later???
Any ideas please?

Change the time zone to the correct one, then change the clock time
to the correct setting.

Thank you Gary, I am still struggling, when I send mail to myself, it shows
correct in the Sent box, time sent is correct, and yet when I receive the
mail seconds later it shows an hour earlier that the correct time. I am in
Alberta and have set to Mountain Time, and it is set to automatically change
for daylight savings time. The clock on the computer is correct. It just
seems that mail in my in box shows it was received an hour earlier than it
should be, everything else seems okay.

If you are sure that both your time zone setting and clock time
are correct, then there may be a problem with the time zone setting
on the mail server.

I have been Having trouble with the time set in my hotmail. I will send
or recieve and email at 11. am acctual, but the account will say a 5
hours difference, thus 4 pm. is stated by hotmail. I have tried to
reset the time but nothing. any suggestions?

Your computer probably has the wrong time zone setting.
Right-click on your time display, select Adjust Date/Time, click on
"Change time zone". Select the correct time zone for your location.
If you change the time zone, you will then need to reset the clock time also.
