When I start up my PC the date keeps changing, I reset it correctly however
once I start it up again the date has changed. Yesterday (09/08/06 - 9th
August 2006 - UK format) kept reverting to 08/09/06 i.e. 8th September 2006.
Today (10/08/06) reverts to 08/10/06. It appears to advance the month instead
of the day. I have checked that the settings are for UK format rather than US
and scanned over and again for virus and spyware. Can anyone help?

Hi

Control Panel>Regional and Language Options. Make sure that all three tabs
and sub menus are set to the same Language - English (United Kingdom).

I'm in the UK and have no problem with the Date & Time

Thanks for the reply Will - I've checked those. I have never experienced this
before either.

Hi

Your system is reverting to a US setup instead of the UK for some reason.
Those are all set to English(United Kingdom)? And that applies to the
'Advanced' tab as well?

Under Languages>Details>Installed Services - if you have English(United
States) listed as well as English(United Kingdom) - after making sure that
the latter is selected, Remove the US setup and see what happens.

Thanks Will, removing English (US) appears to have worked, fingers crossed or
I'll be back again tomorrow.
Thanks again
Matt

Hi Matt

Let's hope it sticks this time.
