Time conversion

Let me start by saying that I have no programming
experience.... Can anyone help me with a way to convert a
decimal into a time? For example, 3.45 means 3 minutes
and .45 minutes (which equals 27 seconds). Is there a way
to have Excel convert 3.45 into 3:27?

Assume the cell with 3.45 is in A1, in another cell put

=A1/1440

format as mm:ss
