Time and seconds

HI, I am trying to convert seconds in to minutes and seconds. eg 5
seconds would be 0 mins 56 secs. This should be really easy but i can
get my head round it!

One way:

=INT(A1/60)&" mins "&MOD(A1,60)& " secs"

If the number 56 is in cell A1 and represents the seconds, try

=A1/1440

Then format as needed.

Re-reading, perhaps you do want to see;

"0 mins 59 secs"

If so, I would use a cell format like

h "hours" m "mins" s "secs"

OR

m "mins" s "secs"

with the formula;
=A1/86400

This way, the result is a true time and not text.
