Time and Date, Day of Week Display

I keep losing my date in the taskbar. An earlier post answered the problem
so I am not the only one. I did not understand the computerize. I would
love an answer and tell me in general English assuming I don't know a damn
thing--which is the truth.

You need to install a third party product such as TrayClock.

How do you mean losing it? Do you mean the Balloon Tip that shows Day, Date
when you move the mouse over Time, or is the Time totally missing from the
right corner of the taskbar?

Is your taskbar set to Auto-Hide (use Properties on TaskBar) or does it
always stay visible?

Do you normally run your applications maximized?
