time add

I want to add or subtract min & sec for race results & handicap. e.g.
04:16.997 - 18.2 to get min:sec Can't find a function to do that, any
suggestions

If you've put bona fide times (you have to use the colon, etc.) then you
need only add or subtract the cells with formulas, like with any other
numbers. See Chip Pearson's site for details on date/time stuff.
