When I open a tif file in internet explorer it open with
quick view plus. I disabled quick view plus but then the
image did not open. I want internet explorer to use
microsoft office image viewer. How can I make the system
use that viewer when selecting a tiff file in a web
page. If I just select a file in a folder it does use
microsoft office image viewer. I do change the setting
in my computer under tools and folders to say TIF & TIFF
files use microsoft office image viewer.

Help. Please.

You can go into Windows Explorer and go to Tools/folder options/file type.
Find the TIFF line and go to change. It will list the programs on your
system. Select the one you want to use for TIFF files. Do the same for TIF.
This will then cause all TIF & TIFF files to be opened with the program you
specified.

I know this works for WIN ME. If you have XP, Win2000 or WIN NT they should
have a simular function somewhere.

Hope this helps you.
