Thumbs.db

Hi,

I have been seeing this file "Thumbs.db" in mant folders
on my system abd cannot regognise it. Do anyone knows
what this file is please?

the icon seems to be one of the microsofts and has to
Wheels orange and Green engaged on it.

It's a caching thing for viewing pictures.

You can tell Explorer to not create those by going into:
Tools, Options, clicking on the View tab, then taking the
checkmark out of the Do Not Cache Thumbnails.

XP creates thumbnails in --> thumbs.db
