thumbnails?

Hi Group,
I'm wondering if there's any way I can see .eps or .tif files as thumbnails.
I can't find a way to view them in Windows picture and fax viewer either.
The only way I can see what they are is to open them in Photoshop. Any ideas
will be appreciated.
