Thumbnails

My .jpg images do not display when I choose thumbnails as
the view option. .bmp images display fine. It was not a
problem until recently. What can cause this to happen?

I dont know exactly why it happens, but I could fix it doing the following.
tell me if it works for you

run regedit
In HKLM/software/classes/.jpg

create key (folder) ShellEx

Create key (folder):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.jpg\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00
C04FC2D6C1}

(that is, key {BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}inside ShellEx )

Inside, create string:
{7376D660-C583-11d0-A3A5-00C04FD706EC}

Repeat for .jpeg, .jpe or whatever you need

restart the computer
