Thumbnails for a set of pictures are showing up incorrectly as the wrong
pictures. They are correct in the previews and upon opening. Using another
image viewer, thumbnails are correct.

Go to Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View tab and check
'show hidden files' and also 'show system files.'

Browse to the folder in question and delete the file Thumbs.db which
holds the thumbnails.
It will be recreated by the system.
