Folks,

They say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but let me
try:

What is a throw-away email address and how do I get one (or
several)?
Does it really help as an anti-spam measure?
(My simple attempt at munging my address doesn't help at all.)

Thanks for listening.

It's an email address that expires in a period of time, usually a few hours.
You use them when a site requires you to enter a working email address to do
something, but you don't want to give out your real email addresses (i.e.,
you don't want to take the chance of receiving inboxes full of spam).
Here is one you can play with:

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
