Hi:

For some reason I am getting "This page cannot be displayed" error only
when trying to access a webroot.com website for downloading a program
upgrade. This is the only website page that I can recall getting this error.

Anyone have any ideas as to cause and cure?

Thanks

I'm getting the same message from a number of North American sites, e.g.
nytimes.com. Been occurring for 48 hours.

Using IE6 with XP home xp2 all patches downloaded.

Any suggestions

Bill

Hi Bill:

I am still having problems accessing webroot's upgrade download site, but
I just tried nytimes.com and it came right up with no problems. Must be
somewhere in your supporting server if you are still having problems.

Lots of luck,

ColTom2

Hi ColTom2

Thanks - my error - nytimes is ok BUT washingtonpost.com is the one I meant
to quote.

Have since spoken to my isp who are now saying there is a problem in US and
is therefore outside their ability to fix.

Would appreciate if you could test washingtonpost.com

BTW I can get webroot.com OK

Bill

I can get to othe sites just fine. I can even get to my other Hotmail
accounts, but on one account, I keep getting the "Page Cannot Be Displayed"
message.

Does anybody know if Hotmail is experiencing problems? It's bee that way
since Thurs 7/22.Thanks.
