I'm trying to use the FAST wizard to transfer files and settings from my old
computer to my new one, and I need to create a FAST wizard CD. I'm having
trouble doing this - the FAST wizard won't even give me this option. The
only reason I can think of is that maybe I'm supposed to put a formatted disc
into my CD-DVD drive, and all I've got is blank discs. I've searched all
through the Windows XP help and all through this message board looking for
instructions on how to format the blank CD but I can't find anything. Please
help!

It is not necessary to format a blank CD. You should be able to copy files
straight to a blank CD. For help on how to do this search for burn CD in
Windows XP Help and Support. Good luck!

Hi Umpiredice,

F.A.S.T does not support CD drives (for creating a Wizard disk). You can use
a formatted floppy disk, or any other removable media, such as USB
stick/thumb drive. The Wizard disk actually contains FastWiz.exe and it's
supporting files compressed into a single .cab file.
