I'm testing what happens when you use PowerPoint 2003's online help feature
that allows posting to the community.

And now I'm talking to myself to see the result.
Pay no attention to me. ;-)

Do we ever?

Wise. Very wise.

Interesting though. I show up with an MVP flag on the question but not on the
answer. I can see why that'd happen, but it's pretty weird just the same.

Jabber on. You landed in friendly territory. LOL!

Also interesting that all the replies are by MVP's and none of them have MVP
flags either.

That's because we don't normally use the Web interface, which is the only place
that id is shown. Most of us prefer to use a news reader like Outlook Express
and access news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.powerpoint . If you
have Outlook Express, you might try clicking on that link to see a different
interface.

If you post via the web interface you log in with a net passport. MS knows the
net passport of at least some of the MVPs, so it "clicks". We don't have to
log in or authenticate when we're using newsreaders, so we're effectively "Just
some geek in cyberspace."

Please don't encourage him. It is bad enough as it is. <Doh> At last
count Steve has 13 different personalities all of them chattering. <eg>

Not true, not TRUE! There are only 9 of me. Those other guys are imposters.

Sybil, I mean Steve, were you by any chance tied to a piano and forced to
drink gallons of water?
