Hi,
I have a pb that keeps coming up on XP home edition:

When I try to run a certain kind of CD-roms (ex: kids
educational programs), I get the message "The application
cannot run", and the program stops there and then.

Can you help?

Well... does the program documentation say the game runs in WinXP?

Realize that you've not give a hell of a lot of info... for example,
mentioning the NAME of the game would be good. And by the way, when
you've got more info to share you might want to post the question in
microsoft.public.windowsxp.games. You'll probably get a better answer
there.

We need more details on this. I know some older children CD-Roms requered a
640x480 resolution in order to run and wouldn't run otherwise. Try
swithcing to 640x480 (you may need to lower your color quality down to 256
as well).
