Help!! Last Tuesday I enabled my dialup fire wall and
then installed the patch. Today, I was on-line, and the
RPC message flashed on the screen and warned me it was
going to shut my system down and did. How did it get
thru a second time? My firewall is still enabled, I
checked to make sure. I also went ahead and with every
other connection option listed on the screen, enabled the
firewalls on them as well--though I have not ever used
them. I don't know what else to do to get rid of
this "BLASTED WORM"!! This is the second time I have
eliminated the msblast.exe file!! Am I safe now, or do I
worry that more could happen to my system? Please advise!
Thanks for all your help! Debbie

Download fixblast.exe from Symantec's web site. Boot to Safe Mode and
turn off System Restore. Run fixblast.exe from Safe Mode, then reboot to
Normal Mode. Reenable System Restore and reboot.
