The wizard for the subform/reports will not show a list of tables

Can anyone help me find a solution to why the subform or subreport wizard
will not show a list of tables or queries to choose from when you are
creating the sub. It will only show forms and reports that were created.

It is as a subreport is just that - a report. You must first make the
report and when you do this the options of Tables, queries, etc. will be
available. After you have made the report you can then use it as a
"subreport" by linking and embeddeding it into the "main" report

I did have a report created and it still does not show the options to choose

Reread Wayne's advice.

He is suggesting that you should NOT create the subreport with the
main report open.

Instead, create the subreport as a brand-new independent report - and
THEN, after it has been created, embed it on the main report.
