The taskbar -- again!!

My taskbar has doubled in height and refuses any attempt
to shrink it back to normal size - it isn't locked and
whilst the sizing cursor appears it will not drag and
drop.

Any ideas please?

Are you using a toolbar on the taskbar?

If you have "Large Icons" selected in the toolbar's View menu, the taskbar
will increase in height to accommodate those larger icons. Go back to using
small icons: right click within the toolbar and select View> Small Icons.

If you have extended the toolbar to the point that it takes up an entire
row, your taskbar will increase its height. Resize the toolbar and then
resize the taskbar to return to a single row.
