trying to load the game (the sims deluxe edition) keeps
coming up "component tranfer error" dont know what this
means!!!! help!!!!!!!

It's most likely a damaged CD. Several people I know were getting similiar
errors (even though the CD worked fine on other machines), getting a
replacement solved it.

Hi Mags,

There's a problem with the CD drive speed dipping slightly
causing this (according to the ea.com knowledgbase). Try
copying the CD to your hard drive and installing it that way.

Use My Computer to right click the CD Drive to COPY
the CD and then you can PASTE it to you desktop. :-)
