The "?" problem

In a lot of my text that I get from the internet, I am
getting a lot of ? (question marks) instead of other
symbols. The questionmarks don't make sense as they are
replaceing things such as ', :, ;, /. Now some pics are
not downloading on some sites. Does anyone know what is
going on. I hope I put this i the correct section.
Soryy if I did not.

there and what do I rename my files? Sorry if i sound
ignorant, but I am.

Rename your hosts file. Go to: Windows\System32 \DRIVERS\etc.

Hi Norm,

Go to : Windows Explorer\Windows\System32\DRIVERS\etc.
Rename hosts: hosts.old

/xp_tweaks.htm

I went to windows explorer but whenever I see a folder
that says sytem, and I try to open it up, there is
nothing there. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks again
