Your mail provider's service is flaky?

Given a lack of details, my best guess is to suggest turning of your AV
email scanner.

I use ATT DSL, a Linksys router. No one else in this small office (5 people)
are having a problem

Anybody else using AV email scanning? If only one out of five is having
trouble, it likely isn't the DNS servers, or the mail servers, or even the
router. Something on your computer is different from what the others are
doing.

One other person is getting a similar problem, but not as often. A person
here said that I need sp3. When I tried to download sp3 I get the error "The
expected version was not found on your system.

I don't know how to help with the SP3 install problem. However, it is a
known issue that older versions of Outlook have trouble with
'pop.att.yahoo.com:465' if not brought up to SP3. Since it is also known
that updating to SP3 fixes the issue, it is not likely that Yahoo! will do
anything more than suggest the update.
