Every webpage I go to comes up with a "The page cannot be displayed" message,
no matter what page I go to it takes several refreshes to get it to load,
sometimes it doesn't even load.

I've checked my settings are out, I've deleted my files and cookies. But it
still hasn't fixed it.
But I think it might have something to do with this search site,
http://searchweb2.com/ , which has for some reason based itself as my
homepage and always resets itself as my homepage no matter what it's set to.
I've never been to that site before I set up.

I ran a scan with two virus checkers and I have no virus'.
Please help?

Home page hijacker - part of some advertising spyware.

Go to MVP Jim Eshelman's Spyware Quick Fix web page at
http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm and follow the instructions there
to clean up your computer. Note that more than one removal/cleanup
tool is often necessary to get rid of this crud.

Good luck
