Back in September there was a thread that described exactly the problem I
have just encountered - did anyone come up with a satisfactory solution?
The problem is that when I open the Network Connections folder I get an
error message saying "The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve
the list of Network adapters on your machine. Please make sure that the
Network Connections service is enabled and running."
Nor can I run Systems Information - I get "Can't Collect Information -
Cannot access Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows
Management files may be moved or missing."
I've checked that the Network Connections service is running, that all my
Network Adaptors appear to be working........
I'm stumped - does anyone have any ideas please ?
