The My Computer Program Not responding

When in My Computer Program and right click a drive the computer freezes and task manager gives message my computer not responding. have the same problem when in save mode have reloaded OS did not help,has anyone an idea that might help me.

Have tryed spybot and lavasoft also have tryed Norton 2004 And housecall, they foun nothing.

Here's my 1,000,000 to 1 odds that this might help:

By any chance, do you have something called Sonic DLA installed?

That was my identical problem and I traced it to a conflict from the DLA
version I had. Solved it by installing an older one.

DLA enables XP to allow "save to:" and "backup to:" your DVD/CD writer
drive (as if it were a floppy).
