The message "The application could not run because windows is shutting down"

I have this message "The application could not run
because windows is shutting down" coming up all the time
when I am about to log off from my system. But it stays
just for less than half a second and disappears. What
could be wrong with it? I have no application which comes
up when I am about to log off the system.
Can some one help me with this.

Goto Control Panel>Admin Tools.
Event Viewer.
Look at the Application and System logs for more details on the error.
