My friend did a reinstall of Windows XP Home (on top of
his previous installation) After that his keyboard
stopped responding. I tried removing it from the hardware
tree and scanning for changes, switching it out with a
USB keyboard and replacing the i8042prt.sys and
kbdclass.sys driver files to no avail.
If anyone has ever seen this bug before and/or squashed
it's little guts out ... Please reply
