hi, got a problem with my old internet rig. a couple weeks ago it jus
crashed on me to some kind of standby mode. the monitor got no signa
but all fans were still running.

after turning it off (reset didnt work anymore) and back on again al
i saw was the graphic cards bios display and the harddrives sel
check was to be heard, then i was back to the above situation

first i thought it was completely dead but after some testing i foun
out that the longer i leave it turned off and disconnected from powe
source the longer it actually runs fine again. ie when turned of
overnight it will start to boot windows and usually crash agai
during scandisk and when i left it off for more than a week i
actually ran for like 8 hours under heavy load. (prime95 and stuf
like that

anyone got a clue what might be the problem here? i think it might b
the mainboard (msi kt7 something) but i'm really not sure
thx..

I would suspect the PSU, or the cooling fans/HS plugged with junk
