the IP$ path

i made a network between windows me and windows Xp and
both computers can see each others , but if i tried to
acces the WIN ME from the xp it tell me the drive is not
accessabile while i made the shareing well and sure of
that . and if i tried to access from the winME to the XP
it ask me for the password of the path c:\Ip$
and i don't have any passwords on any of them and i don't
know what this path refer to .
can someone help me.
i was useing the admin account and made new account and
tried but same thing

If you mean IPC$, the solution is to run the Network Setup Wizard on
the XP computer (not on the ME computer) to fully enable file sharing:
