The firewall panel won't start

In the control panel, the firewall panel won't start at all. It says
it cannot display firewall properties dues to unknown reasons.
What could be the problem?

"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall
settings" error, try:

Start>Run regsvr32 hnetcfg.dll [enter]
