The Consol (system unit)

There is a loud buzzing sound coming from the consol.
It would buzz loudly for about 4 seconds, paused for 3 seconds and then
start buzzing again for another 4 seconds before stopping completely. This
would happen every now and then. I don't think it's in equal intervals but
the last time it buzzed was a couple of months ago. When it buzzes nothing
happens onscreen, just a loud buzz coming from the system unit.
Anyone know what it is?
