the big fix

My wife and I just bought a new Gateway and (in my infinite wisdom), like an
idiot, I removed the "Big Fix" program that was installed on the system. We
have already installed new programs therefore I do not want to perform a
system recovery. Does anyone know of a site that I may recover this from? Or
would it be necessary to do so?
 
What do yuo wish to recover? The "BigFix program"?
Have yuo asked Gateway how to reinstall?

Maybe already on yuor Windows XP, or System Recovery, or System Restoration
CD?

It's certainly not necessary, but if you want Bigfix, you can download it at
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,7538,00.asp

I personally think you're generally better off without these kinds of
things, but it's your choice.
