I wonder if anyone else has been using this email client? I find it very
good, except that from time to time, possibly when there are a lot of emails
to download, it seizes-up. In fact Windows seizes up - even CTRL-ALT-DEL
won't work, to close The Bat down (a rather clever trick, I'd have thought,
if annoying).

Anyone know how to stop this? any workarounds, etc? Can you sometimes get
emails that crash progs? I have done the usual virus checks and I've tried
using Tweak-XP to release as much memory as poss before using The Bat - no
difference.

Then don't use the BAT.

I am using "The Bat" for about 4 years now and never had such problems.
I think, this problem has nothing to do with "The Bat".
The only unstable versions I ever had where the beta ones and you should
not use them.
I am currently using 1.63 and no problems under 9x,ME,NT,2K,XP (did not
test it on Server 2003).

Are you using Norton Antivirus and have e-mail-protection enabled, maybe
this software has problems with large emails?
