Hi,
Recently I found the DC is very slow. It took more than
one hour to logon the server. Accessing the share folders
is slower than before. I found the process LSASS.EXE hold
more than 500MB memory, and its CPU usage always reach
100%. I compared with another DC, its LSASS.EXE in only
about serveral tens memory. I can't confirm whether this
is the reason cause the system performance low.
Please advise
Thanks,
Jerry

Did you search Technet for KB articles on LSASS?

What service packs, etc. are installed on the machine?

How much RAM?

And, do you by any chance have a large "Hosts" file or large
IPSec policy? (I managed to tie up some machines with each
of these issues.)
