The address of this site is not valid.

When we try to insert a hyperlink to a different file (Word file), we get a
message that The address of this site is not valid. Check the address and
try again. We have tried it with a network drive letter (Q:) and also the
unc to the server's shared folder. Would appreciate any suggestions...thanks.
 
Check to see if the path and filename is correct.

You may want to share what you used. Maybe someone will see a typo???
